Job Description
As a member of PubMatic’s Ad Network Solutions Group, you will be responsible for establishing and scaling ad network relationships. You will work with leading ad networks across the globe to evangelize PubMatic’s solutions for ad networks, determine the appropriate product and services fit, and build long-lasting relationships.
You will be responsible for:
- Reaching or exceeding quarterly revenue goals
- Developing new ad network relationships
- Understanding your client’s business and marketing objectives. Focus on a consultative or solutions-based sales approach through open-ended questioning and excellent discovery meetings with decision makers
- Continuing to present new opportunities to your clients
- Continuously qualifying new business in your territory to feed your revenue pipeline
- Understanding the nature and quality of the traffic and audience across PubMatic’s publisher base and represent that to leading ad networks
- Leading sales efforts through all aspects of the sales cycle including relationship initiation, negotiation, closing, and inside sales
- Managing and growing PubMatic’s New York presence
Required Skills
- 4-6 years of sales and business development experience in the online advertising industry, from an ad network, branded publisher, or online advertising technology background
- Consultative approach to selling, in which you can identify a client’s underlying business needs and craft the appropriate solution
- Strong knowledge of Internet advertising pricing models, ad optimization, audience trends and technologies
- Familiarity and comfort with online advertising technology
- Proven record of meeting or exceeding sales goals
- Prior experience selling audience, media, and technology solutions
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Strong presentation and negotiation skills
- Ability to take charge and deliver results with minimal supervision
- Ability and desire to quickly learn new technologies
- High energy, self motivated and passionate about working in a fast paced start up environment
Qualifications
- 4-6 years in sales or business development at a top-tier ad network or large web publisher, or online advertising technology company
- 4-6 years in Internet/online advertising industry
- 4 year college degree
