Business Development Manager
Location: Palo Alto, CaliforniaJob Description
As PubMatic’s Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for building an extensive network of thousands of web publishers, both large and small, using PubMatic’s optimization services. You will identify, target, and recruit publishers to use PubMatic’s services in order to help publishers increase the revenue they receive from ad sales. You will be responsible for:
- Communicating PubMatic’s value proposition to new publishers
- Identifying and recruiting new publishers
- Closing major publisher deals
- Participating in the product planning process based on your key role and interaction with customers
- Prior sales or business development experience, with a proven track record of closing deals
- Strong understanding of Internet advertising
- Previous work experience at a top-tier ad network or large web publisher
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Strong presentation and negotiation skills
- Personable demeanor and winning attitude
- Ability to take charge and deliver results with minimal supervision
Qualifications
- 4+ years in Internet/online advertising industry
- 4+ years in business development or sales
- 4 year college degree
